Ja’vion Mcvadian “BIO”
Ja’vion Mcvadian, born Harvey Sutton was blessed with the breathe of life on January 25th, 1973 in Cambridge MD. This class of ’91 high school graduate was raised by a single mother with 1 older brother and sister. Ja’vion was first bitten by the performance bug his senior year of high school. Ja’vion won first runner up at their annual senior talent show. From there, Ja’vion participated in 2 singing groups and recorded various singles, performing under the stage name of “Baby Boy”.
Ja’vion acquired management under the company name of 2BMusic Inc, which is owned and operated by Barry Powell. That contract was terminated 4 years after it began. Ja’vion’s stage experience includes BCR (Black College Reunion) from years 1993-1995, as well as summer and winter talent shows in the Daytona Beach and surrounding areas until 2002. Still using the name “Baby Boy”, Javion collaborated with local hip-hop artist, Spade to form the entity Ghetto Symphony Entertainment. Under this venture, he recorded his first album entitled, Journey Home, where he sold 100 CD’S through shows and face to face contact.
Ja’vion realized that due to copyright issues, the name “Baby Boy” could no longer be used. He changed it to the now trademarked name, Ja’vion Mcvadian. Ja’vion acquired independent label access with LFP Media and management under Ju-C-Kay Management in 2005. Under this label, he recorded his second musical effort called; “Mislead Feelings of Desire” released in 2010 and recorded a music video for the first single called, “Someone for me”. 100 copies were sold at the CD release party in January 2010 along with T-shirts and other music memorabilia and more sold at future shows as well as on line through social media sites.
Under LFP Media, Ja’vion performed not only in Daytona Beach and surrounding areas, but in New York as well as North Carolina. After relieving Ju-C-Kay Management of their duties, Ja’vion stayed on with LFP Media learning better music business practices as well and artist development. Ja’vion stayed on with this label until 2010 when the owner of LFP Media, Phinesse Demps was fired for personal reasons.
Since that separation, Ja’vion has recorded a third LP entitled “Illusions of My Reality” that also sparked a CD release party with a surprising amount of CD sales. He has recorded 3 more music videos and has gotten his CD placed on several online stores for purchase. He has since dipped his hand into video production and editing to record wedding videos as well as music videos for himself and the hip-hop artist T.N.T. Tha Nasty Tone, which can be found on YouTube at this time. Ja’vion has met and networked with numerous celebrities throughout his career to include Steve Harvey, Dawn Richards, Wyclef Jean, Public Announcement, Marsha Ambrosius, Dave Hollister, Christina Aguilera, Lyfe Jennings, Shareefa, Joe, Ja Rule, Big Tigger, and the 69 Boys just to name a few.
Ja’vion Mcvadian has a sound that is definitely all his own. His out-going personality and his humbling, romance driven stage shows with colored carnations and other romantic stimulants, separate him from any other artist locally, or internationally. Ja’vion’s stage presence is one of confidence and style and he believes that in order to be the best, you have to think, look and sound the best. This Heavy-Set Sexy, Smooth Crooner understands that he may not be what the industry wants, but he will not stop until ALL can see that his talent is definitely what the industry needs.
